ReplyDeleteThankyou, for you 130 and your dads 25.
DeleteCongrats mate! Good to hear you're going strong, we've been with you all the way, keep yourself carbed up and stay alert ciao4now. ps. it feels good to get in before the Bloghogs lol
ReplyDeleteMate, plenty of room always for you.Hope your enjoying the shananigins.
DeleteHahahaha...the suspense has been killing us. What an achievement. Rest easy....only half way to go!
ReplyDeleteYeh ,trying to get as much out of my bloggers as possible. It's like pulling teeth.hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWTF????
ReplyDeleteThat's the announcement?
Halfway?
What about Julia and the G20? You didn't tell us about your involvement with that!
Nor did you tell us about the half full, versus the half empty, theorem you have been working on!
I am shattered with the "halfway" bit...so NO MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS about having ANNOUNCEMENTS.
Gees I hope I sleep alright tonight!!!
HA HA HA , once again you done my head in. Well 10 out of 10 for entertainment value .
ReplyDeleteKudos to you Grant... not as easy as it looks on the Computer screen i bet hahah You must have a good feeling accomplishing the halfway mark in such a great time. The Tour starts at the EOM, cant wait for the late nite viewing, and in the words of the Great Lance Armstrong "Its not about the Bike" its my journey in life.... keep those Platsy calves pumping - Enjoy the Ride
ReplyDeleteHey Mister Sparticus! Congratulations!! Isn't it wonderful to also have achieved this half-way mark with Jimbo onboard?! A mammoth effort so far

ReplyDeleteWasnt me Toni,i'm not that sensitive.Keep em commin
DeleteBloody Hell, Thank God, I was sweating on that announcement, (having read the previous Blogg about sore bums) I don't have to tell the world that one of my favourite cousins has "Come out", you know how the conversations goes, "Hi my names Penny Wong from Malaysia and I'm a Labor Minister with a child from my partener who the Aussie tax payer is paying for" and I would have said " My names Bluce and I have a fav' cousin who's riding a bike around Australia and he too is gay" Now I wont have to say that!! Praise the Lord!!
ReplyDeleteBut what I really want to say is "Well done ol' chap" 1/2 way. Soon I'll give the instruction to turn West........
Bluce that will be your privelage when it comes time to tell me to turn left, as i will be leaving Debs place in Cairns i'm sure my brain would of been through hell and i will need some directions as i could end up in New Guinea
DeleteJim put you up to that didn't he? You were channelling him on that long boring ride north, I know. Next you'll be fronting a reality TV show announcing who is next to leave the show, complete with drum roll, or fronting your own TV show like Billy Connolly on Route 66. Saying you're half way means the job is only half done, so get over yourself Kelly, get back on that bloody bike and start riding. You're not out there to have fun and enjoy the views. Your job is to keep your blog junkies supplied with their daily hit of interesting stories about people and places and signs and gorgeous bookends, n stuff. So get on with it!
ReplyDeleteSorry Doc,i'll wipe that smile off my face and get back on the bike and finish this mission with no more funny business.lol
DeleteH! Grant GUdday! yes we like to congratulate you for achieving this far I reckon is amazing. I can't just image but you did it. We love and follow you...Cheer

ReplyDeleteTrouble is buddy i think 12999 are from you.lol I only hope Flanny puts one on in the next half ettempt
DeleteWell done mate, half way in 68 days!!! You're ahead on your schedule of 5 months....That's fantastic but you will need to slow down a little now as some of us can hardly keep up with you and the blog and we're not even riding..! By the way, forget the cold night in the tent mate and have a bit of half way luxury...Fantastic pics and riveting blog but of course you're not expecting the same from me in the mountains..... I'm a bit of a solitary secretive and uncontactable mountaineer... Enjoy the top end as I know you will as for me I'm off for the big climbs in 10 days and then onto Sweden from where I should be able to track you down again.
ReplyDeleteMate ,i will appreciate a little feedback from you if you can and tell us through the blog what you are experiencing or did experience. At least the starting point and later the finsh point to give us all an idea using my location button . Come on lets do it.
DeleteWow! Amazing, you are flying up that highway. You start on the home run and you take off as if you are on a motorbike. I feel I've had to take on the 'mother' role on this blog, no one else seems to notice if you stop long enough to eat. I was worried today, only a short break at 10am, but lo and behold, you have been blogging. Incredible! so who am I to worry. Of course, it might be the thought of the lasagna in MacKay that has you moving that fast, if so, I understand. Worth getting to in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteTerrific effort for day 69. All of Victoria is freezing today with the wind from the South Pole. We will be lucky to get to 12C here. You have done well to be so far north and that has been a result of hard work, eating enough to get you there, and sheer will-power. Hugs from me on such an amazing effort.
Enjoy the weekend!
Yes ,Kate and Greg are spoiling me with food and drinks.Had a nice sleep last night and have been sight seeing Mackay by car on my rest day.
DeleteWell done Tilak ,FANTASTIC !!! ALWAYS KNEW THAT IF ANYTHING YOU WOULD BE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE !!! Thats the Grant Kelly way !!!
ReplyDeleteKEEP PEDALLING
Joe :-)
How's your project going mate?
DeleteBig congrats on that, what an amazing effort, I think you should celebrate with a couple of coldies on that nice raised wooden decking out back there. I think the six blue tiles in the bathroom would look better as a border, but the light/dark grey kitchen looks excellant. Oops zooming in too far. Once again a big well done from my crew.
ReplyDeleteMMMMAAAATTTTEEEE Will you stay out of Real Estate Dot Com and stop making out your some sort of secret agent.Your scaring the guys here ,they couldn't sleep because they thought you where looking in there bedroom.
DeleteHow is the bike holding up? A report from the bike, please.
ReplyDeleteHerse is going well and he is getting new tyres as the back one is worn through .Everything else is rosey.
DeleteNo I removed it cos I swore thought about the kiddies - great achievement Grant take care
ReplyDeleteYes i thought that wasa bit out of character,NOT.lol
ReplyDeleteHi Grant, great achievement so far on the half way milestone. You know what they say about the home stretch always seeming faster. Its bloody freezing here in Sydney, icy winds off the mountains really chilly...I went to the Swans V's Geelong game last night & it was a thriller with Swans sealing victory in last minutes for a great win...Go Swans.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunny moring here as long as you are not in the wind its great. I am sure you will be enjoying much better where you are now.
Jen, Jack, Ella & Scout all send a huge WOOOHOOO! on the half way mark...Speaking of Scout, what did you do to that dog when you stayed at our place...she hasn't quite been the same since?
Keep peddaling mate
Frz
Yes, got here over the half way mark not totally by myself, you guys and a lot of others have pushed me along to make it all flow.
DeleteWhatever Scout says it's not true and i will rigorously fight for my innocence and sue the pants off her,again.Whoops:-)
Great personal answers to the blogs, Grant.
ReplyDeleteThe bloggers do need you to support them, as it is tough sitting reading, looking at the "Where is.." map, then the weather conditions, then a bit of imagining, followed by a nice cup of tea, then sitting thinking what to write; followed by an hour trying to decipher the bloody ROBOT thing, then resubmitting when you get it wrong (especially Joy who does lots of times), so thanks on all our behalves and we look forward to reading from all those YET TO BLOG to you.
Wow!! Halfway...well done, an awesome job!!Before u know it u'll be back in Perth ready for a BIG party!! :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic work Grant xx
