Day 125

Day 125 was the day i was going to make a dash for Perth until i woke to that farmiliar howling cold Southerly wind that Ledge point is renowned for. Decided to stay that extra day i have up my sleave and hope the wind calms down a bit. Besides not really many places to stay from now to Perth so i will just kick back and carb up.

Saturday morning i will head off towards Perth and I ended up making a decision of ringing Robin on the Bat phone to ask if the Bat cave is O.K. to spend Saturday night there. He got excited and said that he would put the special black satin sheets on the bed and run a hot bubble bath for me. So Saturday guys if you follow the bread crumbs you will no where the secret bat cave is and reveal who  Robin is.
Also i left Robin with a little quiz by asking if the Answer is "Cock Robin" ,what is the question?. If anybody knows the question let me know,if not, Robin should know by Sunday morning .

Hang on ,all of a sudden theres a knock at the door of my room. It's Joe Peci all the way from Perth, 100kms . I knew i should of turned that "tracker" off. Well thats the end of my holiday folks. lol.

Until tomorrow,

Take care,

Batboy.

Hi Geggie, once again you have put us all to shame with your tenacity but with Tiger Kelly providing the wind beneath your feet how could you fail. No doubt you and the bike have bonded so beware of separation anxiety when you finally alight at the home gates. By the way, if we knew there was going to be an award for the nest host we would have fed you better or at least given you some soggy sammies for the journey. A wise guy by the name of George Moore (1852 -1933)said " A main travels the world in search of what he needs and then returns home to find it". The question is where to next little bro! How do you top "legend". Nasty Trevor and spoilt Brian would send their regards but they are still recovering from your comments. Very, very proud of you.

  6. You will be pleased to know we will be trying out the tandem bike tomorrow and Grace is coming over to have a practice run on her bike as well. Who knows we might end up as converts casting the car aside and only riding bikes in the future.

  10. Hey Grant, so close to home now you cal almost smell it...no not the dogs bum...home. Talking of dogs bums, Scout is trying to get up on my lap while I am typing this, I am not sure what that is all about but I reckon she knows & is trying to send some congratulatory sniffs. I reckon Dogs know whats going on...they send messages to each other via interplanetary tail wagging...stuff us humans havent gotton onto yet.

Oh shit..here you go...an official statement from the Mrs...da da dada...

Congrats Grant on your journey and pending arrival back into Perth. Cant believe how well you have done. That Sushi must have helped you power up the East Coast. Anyway, I read your schedule of events for Sunday and just noted the last comment which has Scout very upset....12 hours sleeping, spooning and squeezing with pearl....She is crying "why not meeeee...he loves me too!". Just think as of tomorrow you will be free of Frz's post. I on the other hand have to live with him...hehehe!!! well done and we are planning on being in Perth for Chrissy so look forward to seeing you then, may even bring the Scoutster for a reunion!!! jen x (Mrs Frz)

Grant, have an awesome day tomorrow. Talk soon
